Triumphant performance at Hampton Court
Triumphant performance at Hampton Court by first timer exhibitors Country Roses.
The fragrance of the roses drew gasps of admiration at the spirit of Country Rose weddings, personified by Flora Neville in her vintage rose bridal dress designed by Jane Bourvis, surrounded by Country Roses of all descriptions. A bronze medal from the RHS came our way, to join the bronze we won at the Great Autumn Show. After eight days of blazing desert heat with upwards of 30,000 visitors a day it was a miracle the roses were still crisp and fragrant at the end of the marathon - but they were in better shape than we were, thanks in no small part to set designer Trisha Edwards and to our loyal helpers Flora, Harry and George Neville. Danae Brook and Robin Duthy. Visit Danae's blog for her story on exhibiting at the Hampton Court Flower Show.
